Several months ago, after the summer shoot with Jack and Nicky, Rhonda, her friend Julia, and I got together for dinner at Yard House to gab about our animals. Julia runs special events for the MSPCA at Nevins Farm – which means she is an all around awesome human.
I casually mentioned to her that I had reached out to Nevins previously about me photographing the resident small adorable creatures in their care, and no one had ever gotten back to me on that front.
She said "!"
And so a beautiful thing began.
We picked a day where both Rhonda and I could be there. (My dear friend Val came too!) It was early October, so I decided we would do an autumn theme. (No brainer).
Recently, spurred by the struggle of finding suitably themed backdrops, I had taken to painting my own backdrops for all pigaroo sessions.
With Sassafras's approval, the stage was set!
All in all we photographed 20 pigaroos that day, and within 2 weeks, all but 3 had been adopted! Here are there über adorbs faces.
Thank you again to Rhonda and Val for being there and being awesome!
